Typically it can take around 6 weeks to build a website.. is the short answer but obviously there are several factors which can speed things up or slow things down depending on the size and shape of what you want, how much copy and content there is to get over to us; whether you have a logo you are happy with, and how quickly you can sign off each page so we can move onto the next. So about six weeks is about right but a few things can make a significant difference either way. 

Peak Media Marketing are small to medium business champions and we are a small business ourselves. We fully understand how important it is to get things right at this stage, so as to have a solid foundation on which to build and scale. This is why all of our websites and marketing packages are modular and scaleable. 

It depends. In short packages start from just £300, get in touch to discuss your budget and what you’re looking for in terms of growth for your business rather than “I just need a website”. The smallest website we do is a 3 page micro site which starts at £299 we also have set packages for 5 page, 10 page and 20 page sites. Anything above and beyond that, we’ll do a bespoke quote for you and there’s a few other factors which vary pricing as well like if it’s e-commerce or a brochure site and whether it’s part of a marketing package or not. Websites are cheaper if bundled with a marketing package.

1. We try not to because there’s nothing worse than “yeah it’s this price plus all this other stuff which means it’s really that price.” It really bothers us that people do business like that and we really aren’t those … people. Extra charges might be incurred if you want something non standard … which takes you outside of standard pricing. For example if we use a premium template (or theme) then it could be chargeable depending on whether it eats all the margin, or hopefully not. You’re a small business too, so you probably already get it. Likewise if you want any premium images or video footage. They too are outside of standard so they can be cost adders. There will also be the charge for website and domain hosting, whether you use ours or get it elsewhere. Bear in mind also there could be a transfer fee to package up the website files and transfer them to your hosting provider, we’ll not charge you an arm and a leg for it but it is billable time and another card we’ll put face up on the table. Domain registration costs as well. It’s best if you buy the domain rather than us (in all fairness, it’s the best way forwards) that way your business’s domain name is solely registered to you all along and not to us or anyone else. Any stuff like logo design, app builds and marketing packages are totally different services to website design so they have their own pricing structures each accordingly. 

WordPress is free but there are loads of added on services which are chargeable. We don’t put any margin on those as and when we use them. We charge for our time and expertise. A bit like a lawyer or an architect does.
